Course Description

The Diploma of Leisure and Health (CHC53415) will allow candidates to gain knowledge and skills in the core areas of Leisure & Health. This will allow you to make comprehensive assessments of a client’s profile and utilise this information to contribute to leisure & health programs and evaluate their success.

Skills First Funding

​

  • Students wishing to apply for a Skills First Funding must be assessed for eligibility to undertake an approved course. This assessment is in addition to any entry requirements that may be required for the specific course a student wishes to undertake. Domestic Students
There is no qualification or educational prerequisites to gain entry into the Diploma of Leisure and Health.

  • All potential students must attend a compulsory information.

  • Skills Training Australia will conduct a review of your current competencies, including language, literacy and numeracy skills, in order to ensure this is the most appropriate qualification to achieve your intended outcomes.

  • Students wishing to apply for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan must be assessed for academic suitability to undertake a high level VET qualification. This academic assessment is in addition to any entry requirements that may be required for the specific course a student wishes to undertake. For further information please refer to our VET Student Loans page.

 

VET student loans will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements.

A VET student loan gives rise to a HELP debt that continues to be a debt due to the Commonwealth until it is repaid.
