Course Description

The Skills Training Australia Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (HLT33115) qualifies you to provide assistance to health professionals with services to clients and patients. While you won’t be delivering direct care to clients, a Health Services Assistance role will see you being in direct client contact. You will be qualified to undertake positions such as assistant in nursing, nursing support worker, patient service attendant and orderly.

There are no prior qualifications or employment requirements to gain entry into the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.

 

I​nternational applicants must be 18 years or older and have:

  • Year 11 or equivalent certificate of senior secondary education.

  • IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no band score less than 5.5. If the level of English is insufficient, a suitable course can be organised.​
